Carlito’s Potential WWE Fastlane Return Sends Social Media into a Frenzy

WWE Fastlane is going down tonight, and it could be quite a night of surprises. The company is making a lot of noise, and some big developments are already causing a former Superstar’s name to trend as fans anticipate that they will see him again in Indianapolis.

Carlito’s name is churning in the rumor mill in a big way, and fans are talking about his return, which would be the first time WWE fans will have seen him since Backlash in Puerto Rico. A recent storyline development could have opened up that possibility in a big way.

During WWE SmackDown this week, an injury angle went down, which left Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio without a third partner for their upcoming match at Fastlane. They are scheduled to face Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits in a six-man tag team match. Rey Mysterio mentioned that he was making a phone call and proceeded to do so. It remains to be seen who he contacted and whether they will join the team. 

Carlito could be a big surprise at Fastlane, but that may not be the only thing that fans aren’t expecting. After all, Jade Cargill is set to make her debut with the company sooner than later, and Fastlane could be a good stage for that to happen as well.

Fans are bringing up Carlito’s name on X, and in a big way. Many of them are expecting to see him return at WWE Fastlane.

“We could see the return of Carlito tonight at WWE Fastlane. He could be teaming up with the LWO against Lashley and the Street Profits. Are you excited to see Carlito?” one fan tweeted out. Another said, “Carlito gone be in that 6 man tag tonight yall. It’s been in our faces for a min.”
