AEW has several wrestlers under contract, and it seems that Tony Khan isn’t afraid to lock down a performer if he wants to use them. That doesn’t mean every signing is immediately made public.
Lady Frost made her debut in Ring of Honor back in February during the inaugural episode of ROH on HonorClub at Universal Studios in Orlando. She appeared on several episodes throughout the Spring. Later, she returned to AEW Television on the May 24th, 2023 episode of Dynamite, where she faced Taya Valkyrie and lost. She had previously appeared on AEW Dark in 2020.
Following that, Lady Frost challenged Kris Statlander for the TBS Title twice, once at AEW House Rules in Huntsville, Alabama, and again on Collision in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. More recently, Lady Frost has been featured on six of the last eight episodes of ROH on HonorClub, missing one episode due to travel issues. It appears that she will be showing up for many more Tony Khan events.
Bodyslam.net noted that Lady Frost has also inked a deal with AEW. This was more of a quiet signing, but it went down months ago.
While speaking to multiple sources, it was confirmed to me that Lady Frost actually quietly signed with AEW months ago. While her signing with the company has not been confirmed publicly by either Frost or AEW, her signing had been kept quiet similar to that of Billie Starkz. Details of her signing were not given to me, other than the fact that it appears she signed her deal “many months ago.”
Before joining the AEW Women’s Roster, Lady Frost had signed a long-term deal with IMPACT Wrestling in 2021. However, her relationship with IMPACT took a downturn. In May 2022, she suffered an injury that necessitated minor surgery. Then, in June of the same year, Lady Frost publicly stated that she had asked to be released from the company.
