Adam Copeland, known to wrestling fans as Edge, made his highly-anticipated debut on AEW Dynamite in the episode that aired on October 4.
Copeland’s AEW debut began with a backstage segment alongside Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Later in the show, he entered the ring to address Christian Cage, his former tag team partner and childhood friend. In a surprising twist, Copeland proposed a reunion as a tag team, only to be met with Christian’s blunt response, telling him to “go f**k” himself.
Fans can look forward to Copeland’s first in-ring appearance for AEW on the upcoming “Title Tuesday” episode of Dynamite, where he will face off against Luchasaurus. Before that, he is slated to make an appearance on Collision, where he will address Christian’s recent comments from the Dynamite episode.
Collision will also feature an AEW World Tag Team Championship match between FTR and the team of Big Bill and Ricky Starks. Additionally, the card includes a bout between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Kiera Hogan.
The next challenger for Christian’s TNT Championship will be determined in an upcoming episode of Dynamite, with Bryan Danielson facing off against Swerve Strickland in a highly-anticipated match.
