Roman Reigns is WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, and he is currently enjoying quite a part-time schedule. He is booked for Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 4th, but his match might not be what some fans think it will be.
A recent report stated that John Cena may be in line for a match against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. The company has dropped a few clues that they may go that direction as well.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is not planning John Cena vs Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. That is surprising, because it appeared that they were hinting that direction in recent memory.
Although the promos where the Bloodline and Heyman talk of Cena as “the second greatest wrestler of all-time,” with the idea Reigns is the greatest and a play off Cena’s WWE tag line of being the greatest, and Cena also at this point scheduled for Crown Jewel, it was confirmed to us that Reigns vs. Cena is not the match planned for the show
John Cena is scheduled to be at Crown Jewel, but his match won’t be a title match against the Tribal Chief. Also, Roman Reigns will be on the card as well, but it appears that he will have another opponent other than the 16x World Champion.
