Cassie Lee was part of WWE, where she competed as Peyton Royce. She would see varying degrees of success as part of the IIconics alongside Billie Kay. She was on a pro wrestling hiatus for a long time and she finally returned to the ring today, after well over a year.

Cassie Le and Jessica McKay eventually went to Impact Wrestling last year and would win the Impact Knockout Tag Team Titles, but dropped those titles as well. The two then announced that they had indefinitely stepped away from pro wrestling back in April last year.

Cassie Lee’s last match took place on April 23rd 2022, where she and Jessica McKay dropped the Knockouts Tag Titles to The Influence at Impact Wrestling’s Countdown to The Rebellion.

Cassie Lee finally came out of her hiatus after more than a year, as she squared off against Jessica Troy as part of World Series Wrestling’s upcoming Full Throttle tour on October 7th.

Not only that, but she also accompanied her husband Shawn Spears as the latter took on Matt Cardona for the WSW World Championship. Spears would win the match as Lee celebrated with her husband.

It was certainly great to see Cassie Lee return back to doing what she loves so much after so long. It remains to be seen whether she will eventually return to WWE somewhere down the line.
