Baron Corbin has been part of WWE for ten years now, and he made the most out of any role that was given to him. Prior to his WWE tenure, Corbin has competed in other sports and even dabbled in MMA from time to time. Now it appears Corbin is preparing for an MMA competition this year and he showed off his prowess in a training video.

Baron Corbin is a former Golden Gloves Boxer and had a football career before joining WWE. After his football career ended, he had to decide what to do next and decided pro wrestling was his calling.

Baron Corbin took to his Instagram and uploaded a video of himself training in the art of Brazillian Jit Jitsu, where he could be seen practising the fundamentals, including rolling. Corbin added that he is training to compete in an MMA competition on December 2nd.

I’m on that grind, I think I’m going to compete December 2 and I haven’t competed in 12 years. But F it let’s roll!

The WWE Superstar recently revealed that he initially aimed to join the UFC before making his way to WWE. It remains to be seen whether Baron Corbin will be able to secure a good position in the MMA competition this year.
