Katsuhiko Nakajima has officially concluded his tenure with Pro Wrestling NOAH. With his contract having already expired, Nakajima’s future destination in the wrestling world remains uncertain, but it’s reported that he could potentially join either WWE or AEW.

Nakajima, who made his debut for NOAH in July 2005, boasts an impressive wrestling resume, including two reigns as GHC Champion, three as GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion, and six as GHC Tag Team Champion.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Nakajima’s future.

“[Katsuhiko] Nakajima is finishing up with NOAH. His contract has already expired with NOAH, but he’s doing a few more matches this month, and nobody in Japan knows where he’s going. I’ve got friends in Japan who have speculated WWE. New Japan [is] very high in the speculation. And when Tony [Khan] was asked, he said that [AEW’s] very interested too. When he was leaving, it was pretty much gonna be one of those three places because why else would he be leaving?”

Nakajima’s professional wrestling journey began in September 2003, with his NJPW debut occurring in May 2004. For those less familiar with Nakajima’s work, a glimpse of his skills can be seen in highlights from his match against Kento Miyahara (AJPW) at FORBIDDEN REUNION: Katsuhiko Nakajima (NOAH) vs. Kento Miyahara (AJPW) at One Night Dream.
