Drew McIntyre Sparks Cody Rhodes’ Reaction with ‘Codyverse’ Reference on WWE RAW

Cody Rhodes is certainly one of the most beloved stars in WWE right now. Cody’s natural charisma and relatable attitude have helped him win the hearts of many fans. Drew McIntyre also mentioned the infamous ‘Codyverse’ AEW term on RAW this week and now Rhodes has reacted to the same.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Drew McIntyre cut a promo, where he made it clear that he was done being the hero. He also called out Cody Rhodes and stated that he was in the ‘Codyverse.’

“I feel like I’m in the Codyverse. You know he just does what he wants, says what he wants.”

‘Codyverse’ is a very infamous term that originated during Cody Rhodes’ time in AEW. According to Urban Dictionary, ‘Codyverse’ is defined as Cody Rhodes’ storylines in AEW, which were considered to be disconnected from all other storylines in the promotion and existed in some kind of parallel universe.

Cody Rhodes certainly took notice of what Drew McIntyre had to say, as he took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself during his time in Ring of Honor with Bernard The Bear.

Cody Rhodes is set to partner up with Jey Uso and challenge The Judgment Day for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at WWE Fastlane. That said, it remains to be seen whether Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will end up feuding in the future.
