Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at WrestleDream, and that was quite a surprise for some fans. Then again, it was also a pretty poorly kept secret within the company as well. Now, Grayson Waller has something to say about that big moment in Seattle.

Edge’s final match in WWE was against Sheamus in Toronto. His second-to-last match saw him take on Grayson Waller at Madison Square Garden, and Adam Copeland won both of those contests.
Grayson Waller was obviously paying attention to AEW WrestleDream, and he saw Adam Copeland’s debut for the company. The Grayson Waller Effect host quipped on X to drop a snarky remark about how Edge left WWE.
Adam Copeland explained that he wanted to work with younger talent in AEW. He also wanted new matches, and he wanted to help. He will get all the chances in the world to do just that as a full time talent.
Grayson Waller is set to be a huge star in WWE. Adam Copeland wanted to work with younger talent, so it wasn’t a surprise to see him face Waller at some point. Even though Edge won that match, he still admitted that Waller “swam” during their contest.
