Becky Lynch Pulled From NXT Women’s Title Match On October 2nd Episode of WWE RAW

Becky Lynch defended her NXT Women’s Title at NXT No Mercy, and that was quite a defense. She was set to defend her title against Tegan Nox on RAW this week, but that isn’t happening now.

Becky Lynch suffered quite a gash on her arm during that NXT Women’s Title match. Now, it appears that she was pulled from her match on RAW because of it.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that The Man will not be wrestling on WWE RAW this week. This is due to that injury she suffered at No Mercy.

Fightful Select has confirmed with WWE sources that Becky Lynch is not cleared to compete at tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. We’d reported Saturday night that Lynch sustained a laceration that required 11 stitches to close. 

Lynch was originally scheduled to face Tegan Nox for the NXT Women’s Championship. There was hope that Lynch would be able to compete, but it isn’t in the cards as of now.

This really is unfortunate news for Becky Lynch. Hopefully, she can get healthy in a hurry and get back to the ring. After all, Tegan Nox deserves that NXT Women’s Title match.
