Toni Storm made her way to AEW after a disappointing run on the WWE main roster. Her run was largely marred by bad booking decisions, especially during her feud with Charlotte Flair. Now it appears Storm poked fun at one particular segment with Flair on AEW Collision this week.

Back in 2021, Charlotte Flair snubbed Toni Storm on a title opportunity on a couple of occasions. All of this eventually led to a feud that featured them throwing pies at each other, which was not something fans wanted to see at all.

While speaking during an interview on this week’s episode of AEW Collision, Toni Storm went on a rant about how she is treated by the wrestling business and would poke fun at the infamous pie-throwing segments with Charlotte Flair during her time in WWE.

“This business can be a cruel mistress. I do miss the old days, it was a happier time, a simpler time, slap on a backwards hat, slap a pie in someone’s face, they loved you!

Now, it’s, ‘What have you done for me recently?’ Now it’s, if you don’t bleed and cry every week then you won’t get a good write-up in the trades.

Well, pardon me for being a star, and if the world has forgotten what that looks like, then chin up, t*** out, I guess I’ll just have to remind them.”

We will have to wait and see how AEW will continue to book Toni Storm in the coming weeks, as her current character is undoubtedly one of the best things going on in AEW right now.
