The NXT Women’s Championship match scheduled for Monday’s WWE RAW episode is now official. This was 100% locked down when Becky Lynch successfully defended the NXT Women’s Title against Tiffany Stratton at the Bakersfield event.
Tegan Nox earned the opportunity to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship on the upcoming Fastlane “go-home” edition of RAW, set to take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. It was unclear whether she would face Tiffany Stratton or Becky Lynch.
Becky Lynch secured a victory in the main event at Saturday night’s WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 premium live event, where she faced former champion Tiffany Stratton in an “Extreme Rules” match. That was quite a war, and Lynch was bloodied in the process.
As a result of this win, “The Man” will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Nox on the final RAW before WWE Fastlane 2023. Only time will tell if WWE books an NXT Women’s Title match at Fastlane on October 7th as a follow-up to this match.
Other previously announced segments for the show include the contract signing between GUNTHER and Tommaso Ciampa for WWE Fastlane 2023, a match featuring “Senor Money In The Bank” Damian Priest against “Main Event” Jey Uso, a Miz TV segment with Drew McIntyre, a match between Xavier Woods of The New Day and Ivar of The Viking Raiders, and a women’s match pitting Shayna Baszler against Nia Jax.
