NFL’s Stefon Diggs Channels ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in Epic Touchdown Celebration

Steve Austin is pop culture icon at this point. Nobody can throw a beer bash like The Texas Rattlesnake, and there is little denying that. Try as they might, it seems that now Stefon Diggs is in on the action.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs scored a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and celebrated with a tribute to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. This reference was not missed by fans.

Stefon Diggs emulated Austin’s iconic celebration by grabbing two drinks and smashing them together in excitement. He was obviously excited about his performance on the field, and it showed in a big way.

The clip is now making the rounds, complete with Steve Austin references. It’s nice to see nods like this to pro wrestling legends, especially when they happen in other sports.

We’ll have to see if the Steve Austin references continues from Stefon Diggs. It certainly made for a viral clip on a Sunday.
