Dolph Ziggler was one of the highlights of WWE but was released from the company last month, shocking people all over the world. Naturally, fans started speculating that he will end up in AEW next. That said, an ex-WCW employee warned Ziggler that he would get buried in AEW.
Last month, several WWE superstars, including Dolph Ziggler, were released from the company following Endeavor’s acquisition. A few of those stars would benefit AEW and many fans feel Ziggler is one of them as reports suggested AEW has an interest in the Showoff.
While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno was asked about Dolph Ziggler making his way to AEW. Inferno made it clear that he had no faith in AEW Creative and instead – warned Ziggler that he would get buried in the company.
“No [On if he sees Dolph Ziggler as the main eventer in AEW]. I don’t have any confidence in any creative things in AEW…I could see him coming out and wrestling for the International Championship. And like then you don’t see him for two weeks, that’s what I think they would do with Dolph Ziggler. I have zero confidence in the creative over there.
They would bring him in and put him in a position to lose it to the guys on the roster that he should not be losing to. That is what I think they would do with Dolph Ziggler. I bet that happens if they sign him. We’ll be talking about this like three months from now.”
Dolph Ziggler has also topped AEW’s wishlist for new signings. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Ziggler, as fans just want him to find success in another company.
