Edge has the rumor mill going in big way with Adam Copeland’s name, and not his WWE moniker. In 2023, fans are smart enough to realize that WWE own that trademarked name. That being said, the company may not have a lock on all of Adam Copeland’s names.

Upon researching some trademark filings, Ringside News has discovered that, while WWE does have “Edge” on lock, they do not have an active trademark for Rated R Superstar.

The Rated R Superstar trademark by WWE is dead and abandoned. There are two of them with identical statuses. We’ll have to see if fans end up hearing that nickname on AEW television.

Ringside News will have full coverage of AEW WrestleDream, so check out our custom section for the event, so you don’t miss any news! As always, hang out during AEW Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, and all of the company’s pay-per-view events in our live results section.
