Rhea Ripley is undeniably one of the top female WWE wrestlers right now. She has earned a huge fan following because of her tremendous dedication to her profession.
Unfortunately for Rhea, she recently suffered an injury following a brutal attack by Nia Jax, which has temporarily sidelined her from wrestling. But here’s some good news: Michael Cole shared on Monday Night RAW that Rhea Ripley’s injury was a bruised rib caused by Nia Jax’s attack.
Interestingly, while her absence was announced, she was actually in Australia for WWE’s announcement that Elimination Chamber would be taking place in Perth, Australia.
During a Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp provided insight into Rhea Ripley’s return timeline. He revealed that she is expected to make her comeback either next week or during the upcoming WWE Fastlane event. So, fans can look forward to seeing her back in action very soon.
“I think she’s supposed to be back either….maybe next week or the pay-per-view weekend.”
We will have to wait and see how The Eradicator will be booked as the WWE Women’s Champion once she returns next month. After all, it is very likely she will want some measure of revenge against Nia Jax.
