Ex-WWE Manager Glad WWE Cut Ties with Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle became a controversial name in WWE due to his antics outside the ring and fans believed it was just a matter of time before he would be released. That is what happened last week as Riddle was let go by WWE. By the looks of it, an ex-WWE manager was genuinely glad WWE cut ties with Riddle.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, multiple attempts were made to de-escalate the situation with Matt Riddle before things got physical at JKF Airport. It was also told to us that Matt Riddle appeared to be “heavily intoxicated” at the time.”

Matt Riddle officially confirmed his exitfrom WWE last week, and he almost immediately got interest from other wrestling promotions after his release. His release remains a major topic of discussion even now.

While speaking on the latest episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Dutch Mantell talked about Matt Riddle’s WWE release and made it clear that he was genuinely glad WWE cut ties with Riddle.

“I’m glad WWE kinda, again, I’m not glad he lost his job. But I am glad the WWE said, ‘Hey man, we’ve given you every chance in the book. It’s just not gonna work out. You’re more trouble than you’re worth.’ And they told him and let him go.”

Footage of Matt Riddle’s intoxicated antics at JFK Airport recently surfaced. Ringside News also exclusively reported that Matt Riddle was linked to over two dozen foul-ups leading to heat backstage. Riddle also dropped a tease that something new is coming soon following his WWE release. It remains to be seen what will become of Matt Riddle in the end.
