WWE and Saudi Arabia are in the middle of a decade-long deal to bring big events to the country. Their next event is in November, but they might not have all of the roster around.
We previously reported that WWE is changing up their SmackDown tapings for the next Saudi Arabian event. That being said, the Saudi Arabian show is not going to get the entire roster either.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that some top WWE Superstars won’t be going to Saudi Arabia for the next show on November 4th. That being said, the November Saudi Arabia show will still be quite an event.
“A schedule note is that they are running Smackdown and house shows in the U.S. on the weekend of the Saudi Arabia show on 11/4, but not a Smackdown taping. It looks like they’ll be doing two SmackDowns in Milwaukee but that some top talent won’ t be going to Saudi Arabia as in the past they have not run house shows on the weekend of a Saudi show.”
WWE has a lot of plans in place, and the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia is certainly going to be quite an event. That being said, their schedule has to go in a certain way, and it is possible for them to run multiple events at the same time, and facilitate everyone.
We will have to see which top WWE Superstars don’t get booked for the next Saudi Arabian event. If they don’t make the Crown Jewel show, then they may just be at those house shows instead.
