Saraya Wishes She Could Redo In-Ring Return at AEW Full Gear

Saraya is considered a pioneer in professional wrestling as she has helped establish women’s wrestling in general in a big way thanks to her time in WWE NXT as well as the main roster. She debuted in AEW last year and fans couldn’t have been happier. That said, it appears Saraya wishes she could redo her in-ring return at AEW Full Gear.

After WWE decided not to renew her contract, Saraya made her way to AEW during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite back in September 2022. She immediately made an impact and started feuding with Britt Baker.

After one unfortunate promo, Saraya eventually found her groove and finally made her in-ring return at Full Gear 2022, where she squared off against Britt Baker. Despite noticeable ring rust, Saraya would come out on top in the match. However, the match was panned for being mediocre at best.

While speaking on a Rapid Fire edition of Truth or Dab, Saraya was asked to name a moment of her career that she wishes she could relive. Saraya would then admit she wished she could redo her in-ring return at AEW Full Gear.

“Winning the divas championship, winning the NXT Championship, winning the AEW World Women’s Championship. All of it. If I could redo my first match back, I would because I was the shits [laughs]. I wish I could have been better in my first match back after five years.”

Saraya won the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW All In and it was joyous occasion for her. Only time will tell whether she will end up staying the champion for a considerable length of time.
