AEW has gone through numerous changes over the past four years and most of them have been positive. That said, the company is still susceptible to technical and production errors from time to time. It appears that’s exactly what happened on AEW Dynamite this week and Tony Khan apologized for the issues.
During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, quite a few fans noted that the broadcast on TBS was marred by technical difficulties. For some instances during the show, the audio was jarring and had bizarre reverberation sounds as well. Even the feed itself cut out near the end of the show.
AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter and apologized for all the technical difficulties prevalent throughout the episode. Khan noted that there were issues at TBS with a new operating system, but added that AEW’s international feeds were unaffected. He then added in another tweet that the audio was fixed for the broadcast on the West Coast.
I apologize for the persistent issues at @TBSNetwork tonight with our #AEWDynamite feed.
As I understand, there were issues at TBS with a new operating system; thankfully AEW’s international feeds were unaffected.
We’re working now to put a clean feed on TBS West later tonight!
This isn’t the first kind of technical or production error that AEW suffered recently, as a major production botch took place earlier this month on AEW Collision. Regardless, fans hope such errors never happen again.
