Nick Jackson is 1/2 of the Young Bucks, and he’s normally in tag team action. That changed this week, and it also set him up for a big title match next week.

Nick Jackson is set to face Rey Fenix for the AEW International Championship on October 4. Jackson earned this title opportunity on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. He emerged victorious in a three-way eliminator match against Brian Cage and Claudio Castagnoli.

To end the match, Nick Jackson pinned Brian Cage after Castagnoli delivered a Ricola Bomb to him. Jackson then eliminated Castagnoli with a hurricanrana and swiftly pinned Cage.
