Dustin Rhodes’ AEW Absence Attributed to Knee Injury

Dustin Rhodes is considered a proper veteran in professional wrestling, after wrestling in the business for many decades now. Rhodes has seen the rise and fall of many companies and continues to push on no matter what. He hasn’t been on AEW television for a while now and it appears that is due to a knee injury.

On December 3rd 2022, Dustin Rhodes made the announcement that 2023 would be his final year as an active in-ring competitor. This is because Rhodes wants to retire while he can still walk.

In spite of this, Dustin Rhodes has been competing in the ring since then. Rhodes also keeps himself busy with his backstage role. According to PWInsider, The Natural has been absent from AEW television for a while as he is currently dealing with a tweaked knee.

Dustin Rhodes has not been at AEW TV of late, which we are told is due to him dealing with a tweaked knee.

We will have to wait and see whether The Natural will end up retiring after this year. Even if he does, there is no doubt that he will remain a vital asset to Tony Khan’s company as he is truly one of the most dependable stars in the AEW roster.
