During AEW Dynamite this week, they played a video of MJF and Adam Cole out on the water. The two took a fishing trip on a boat, and things almost took a turn for the worst.

MJF put on his Dynamite Diamond Ring, and he thought about hitting Cole, but the former NXT Champion was able to call MJF out on that before he could. This is when Cole explained to MJF, who has never had any friends, that it’s possible for him to be friends with both Roderick Strong and The Devil at the same time.

Suddenly, Adam Cole got a bite on his line, and he started to reel it in. Then the ROH Tag Team Champions looked very surprised to see what was on the other end of the line.

They showed Captain Insano out on a raft in the water, He was apparently hooked by Mr. Bay Bay’s cast. Needless to say, Captain Insano was not happy about this at all.

The segment ended with Paul Wight, Adam Cole and MJF sitting on the boat, drinking and fishing. It seems that Captain Insano got over that fishing incident. We will have to see how long it is before he makes a return to television.

Ringside News will also have full coverage of AEW WrestleDream, including entire play-by-play results in our AEW results section. You can check out the current lineup for AEW WrestleDream in the space below.
