Tony Khan Reacts to Jade Cargill Leaving AEW for WWE Career

Jade Cargill wasted no time in becoming a major deal in AEW and stayed there for over two years before she parted ways with the company earlier this month. It was all but certain that she was going to join WWE and that’s what happened earlier today. Now it appears Tony Khan has addressed Jade Cargill’s WWE signing.

Jade Cargill’s AEW contract already expired earlier this month and she was also removed from AEW’s roster, more or less confirming she was WWE-bound. Fans were elated as WWE announced they had signed Jade Cargill to multi-year contract.

While speaking on the AEW WrestleDream media call, Tony Khan was asked about Jade Cargill’s AEW departure. Khan had nothing but great things to say about Cargill and wished her all the best in her future endeavors.

“I have only positive things to say about Jade. It’s been great having her in AEW. She is always welcome here. She’s had a great run with us and has a great career, I’m sure, in front of her. Wishing her the best in the future.”

The first AEW talent to react to Jade Cargill’s WWE signing has already been revealed. Triple H was also delighted to welcome Jade Cargill to WWE. Cargill will also be getting much higher than usual money for her WWE run. It remains to be seen whether Cargill will become the biggest star in the women’s division soon enough.
