AEW started off with only a few pay-per-view events, but that will change soon enough. Now, the company is going to start putting out one pay-per-view a month.

Tony Khan’s company has their WrestleDream events this weekend. To prepare for that event, Tony Khan sat down with the media where he hyped the event and broke a big piece of news about the company’s future.

During that media conference, Tony Khan revealed that AEW will be going to monthly pay-per-views. He said that this is the perfect time to debut the WrestleDream event as wel, and he seems very excited about what’s to come.

Khan said he’s never said they will move to one PPV a month, but if there’s ever a time to add a show like WrestleDream, it’s now. He feels their last three PPVs is best run of three consecutive PPVs they have ever done. He is open to more AEW events on a streamer and could be part of a new media rights package. It’s out of scope with their current package.

AEW is certainly producing a lot of content, and now they will have even more pay-per-view events to offer fans. Only time will tell if all of that extra booking responsibility will pay off in the end.

It was also reported that AEW is moving to MAX for their digital content. That will likely bring a lot more fans AEW action, but how everything pans out remains to be seen.
