Teddy Hart was the youngest person ever to sign a developmental contract with WWE in 1998. He had a bright future ahead of him, but a whole slew of legal issues ultimately damaged his reputation. Now it appears we have an update on his legal case following his arrest on multiple possession charges.
As Ringside News previously reported on July 15th, Teddy Hart was arrested on multiple drug charges. Teddy Hart was taken into custody in Brevard County, FL, on charges related to marijuana, steroids, and MDMA.
According to PWInsider, Teddy Hart has waived his right to a speedy trial and is slated for a court hearing on 19th October in Titusville, Florida. It was added that the court date is listed as a mandatory appearance for “Early Resolution.”
Edward “Teddy Hart” Annis has waived his right to a speedy trial and is slated for a court hearing on 10/19 in Titusville, Florida in regard to his 7/15 arrest on charges of possession of MDMA (ecstacy) and possession of a controlled substance without prescription, each of which are third degree felonies in Florida. The court date is listed as a mandatory appearance for “Early Resolution.”
It was further added that he was cited for failing to stop at a steady red light, which is what led to him being pulled over initially prior to his arrest. He was said to have paid a $283 traffic fine related to the incident. We’ll have to see what will become of Teddy Hart and if he will enter into a felony trial.
