WWE picked up Jade Cargill, and that generated a lot of conversation already. While some are wondering who WWE will take from AEW next, others are thinking about whom AEW may sign from WWE.

At a time like this, it is important to remember that Ringside News exclusively reported that the speculation within WWE is still that Edge is AEW bound. That hasn’t changed from our previous exclusive report from a month ago.

Ringside News also previously exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is going to AEW. A short time later, Sean Sapp reported that there is also belief within AEW that Tony Khan will ink Adam Copeland to a contract.

BWE posted on X to state that it appears Edge’s AEW arrival is a sure-thing now. At this point, the business has certainly changed a lot.

“Edge is closer to AEW more than ever apparently. Mind blown on how this business have changed yet so similar to WCW/WWF. The E are playing the right cards right now. Unless something big pops in AEW books in the future.”

“I really doubt E come back with a big money move for Edge. Doubt it. If i get updates on it I will let you know.”

Jade Cargill is set to make her debut for WWE, but it is not clear whether she will be in NXT or go right to the main roster. At this point, it appears that Edge and Cargill might pass each other as they make their way to different companies.

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this story, and so much more going on in the pro wrestling world. Only time will tell what happens next as we continue covering everything there is to write about in the always-changing pro wrestling landscape.
