WWE RAW Results Coverage, Reactions & Highlights For September 25, 2023

It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.

Tonight promises another exciting night of action as Dominik Mysterio defends the NXT North American Championship against Dragon Lee. We’ll also hear from Cody Rhodes tonight. The updated match card is as follows:

WWE RAW Opener:

The opening package for the show airs.

Cody Rhodes’ music plays and he walks to the ring. Cody Rhodes gets on the mic and says he has been interrupted when he tried to talk about Jey Uso. He says Jey coming to RAW means that someone is going to be drafted over to SmackDown and it also means a very disgruntled locker room who thinks he should let Jey Uso sink. He says that isn’t like him.

He says there might be other reasons why he wants Jey here but he wasn’t going to stand here and watch him get beat him for turning down the Judgment Day.

Judgment Day’s music plays and they come out. Damian says Cody had to save the day because everything is about him. Dominik says Jey is going to pay for disrespecting them.

Cody says Dominik has a real family and they can’t stand him. He says if they want to come in the ring and fight, he is game. Cody asks what happens when Rhea Ripley returns and they are empty-handed. Dominik asks him to keep Ripley’s name out of his mouth. Damian drops his mic and Judgment Day gets on the apron. Jey Uso comes to help Cody. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens also comes down to help Cody Rhodes. Judgment Day backs off. JD McDonagh comes out with a couple of steel chairs to help them out.

Judgment Day heads to the ring against Damian’s warning. A brawl breaks out and Priest also gets involved. Priest is cornered. Jey superkicks him and Cody hits him with a steel chair sending him out of the ring.

Bronson Reed vs. Otis

Alpha Academy’s music plays and Otis comes out with Maxxine.

*Commercial break*

Bronson Reed’s music plays and he walks to the ring. The match begins and both men collide in the ring sending each one outside the ring. Otis knocks down Reed. He goes for a splash and hits the post. Reed hits Otis with a clothesline. He sends him into the ring and hits a Samoan Drop.

Both men collide again in the ring. Otis attacks Reed. He hits him with a clothesline and a back suplex. Otis attacks Reed in the corner. Otis hits the caterpillar. Otis goes for a splash and misses. Reed hits a senton. Reed follows it with a tsunami for the win.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Becky Lynch is backstage and Tegan Nox runs into her. Lynch asks what happened last week. She tells her she needs to capitalize on these opportunities.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Tommaso Ciampa’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Pearce is talking on the phone. Tegan comes in and asks if she can get a match against Becky Lynch. Natalya comes in and says she needs a rematch against Lynch. Tegan says she already had her chance. They both bicker and Pearce suggests they find out who deserves a title match in the ring.

Imperium’s music plays and Ludwig Kaiser comes out to the ring with Giovanni Vinci.

The match begins and Kaiser knocks down Ciampa. Ciampa comes back and attacks Kaiser. He chops Kaiser. Ciampa attacks him in the corner. Kaiser sets Ciampa on the top rope and knocks him to the apron. Ciampa is sent into the steel steps.

*Commercial break*

Ludwig dropkicks Ciampa sending him out of the ring. Ciampa gets back in the ring and sends Kaiser over the top rope. He hits him with a clothesline. Ciampa sends Kaiser into the ring and sends him out again. Ciampa bounces Kaiser’s head off the announcer’s table before sending him into the steel steps. Ciampa hits the Willow’s bell. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Ciampa with a reverse DDT. Vinci gets on the apron and Ciampa kicks him. Kaiser hits the enzuigiri on Ciampa. Cover! 1….2….the referee is busy with Vinci. Kaiser kicks Vinci out of the ring. Ciampa hits the jumping knee on Kaiser for the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

Becky Lynch’s music plays and she walks to the ring.

Tegan Nox vs. Natalya

Tegan Nox’s music plays and she walks to the ring. Natalya’s theme song plays and she comes down to the ring.

The match begins and Natalya elbows Tegan. Both women shove each other. Tegan takes down Natalya and kicks her. She plants Natalya. Tegan attacks Natalya. Cover! 1….2…kick out. Tegan goes for the shining wizard and misses. Natalya hits a sit out powerbomb. Cover! 1…..2….kick out.

Tegan uses the ropes to her advantage and hits the World’s Shiniest Wizard for the win.

Winner: Tegan Nox

Judgment Day is backstage discussing and Priest comes in and throws a chair and tells JD that he won’t be in the Judgment Day and asks him to get out.

Seth Rollins’ music plays and he walks to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Seth Rollins is in the ring. He starts by suggesting they play a game. He says if the fans are sick and tired of Shinsuke Nakamura dodging him then they should sing his song. The crowd sings Rollins’ song.

Rollins says he has been calling Nakamura out for weeks but he has been playing games. He says the time for games is over and they are getting an answer now. Rollins says he is pulling the opportunity if Nakamura doesn’t answer his challenge. He says this is his last chance. Nakamura is on the titantron and he tells him he has a lot of demands. He says he wants to be the straw that broke his back. He then says he has restraint while Rollins has no patience. He accepts his challenge at Fastlane in a Last Man Standing match.

Rollins says Nakamura played this one perfectly. He says Nakamura made one critical mistake. He says Nakamura thinks his broken back is his weakness but his broken back is a strength. He says the only way his family will be afraid of him is if he doesn’t give it everything he’s got. He says he loves wrestling. He says he knows every time he steps in the ring, it might be his last time. He says his 100 percent makes him the best in the world. He says Nakamura won’t be walking out of their match.

Jackie interviews Ricochet who is on crutches. He says he doesn’t know what to say but he guarantees he will return. He says it doesn’t matter who wins at Fastlane because he has unfinished business with Nakamura.

Dominik is walking backstage on the way to the ring.

NXT North American Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Dragon Lee

Dragon Lee’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Dominik Mysterio’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Dragon Lee knocks down Dominik. Lee hits the hurricanrana on Dominik sending him out of the ring. Lee dives onto Dominik. He sends him back into the

ring. Cover! 1….2…kick out. Dominik comes back with a DDT on the apron.

*Commercial break*

Dominik climbs the top rope and goes for frog splash but Lee gets his knees up. Lee comes back with multiple clotheslines. He attacks him in the corner. Lee with a dropkick in the corner. Cover! 1……2……kick out. Lee with a German suplex but Dominik recovers and hits a Michinoku driver. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Dominik goes for the 619 and misses. Lee catches him with a knee. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out.

Lee sends Dominik to the apron and hits a hurricanrana onto the floor. Lee sends him back into the ring. He hits the sit out powerbomb. Cover! 1…..2….kick out. Lee climbs the top rope but is stopped. Lee places him in the tree of woe and hits the stomp. Lee goes for the reverse spinning DDT but Dominik hangs him up on the top rope. Dominik hits the frog splash for the win.

Nia Jax is walking backstage.

Jackie interviews Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Kevin says what happened earlier wasn’t about Jey Uso. He says all he cares about getting his hands on Judgment Day. Sami says this is about two guys working together from their childhood to win the tag titles. He says this is about them and about taking back what is theirs. Owens says he is sick of talking and they walk away.

Michael Cole is in the ring and he welcomes Nia Jax. Nia Jax’s music plays and she walks to the ring. Cole asks why she is targeting everyone in the women’s locker room. Nia says she is the baddest human in all of WWE. She says she squashed Rhea Ripley. She says she squashed Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Nia says she will squash anyone to steps in the ring with her because she is the baddest human in the WWE.

Zoey Stark’s music plays and she comes down to the ring. Stark gets in her face and says she squashed her when her back was turned and she dares her to do something face-to-face. Nia shoves her and both women begin brawling while the referees try to separate them.

Zoey Stark vs. Nia Jax

The match begins and Nia knocks down Zoey Stark. She hits an elbow drop. Nia is sent into the post. Stark with a superkick. She kicks Jax again and hits a missile dropkick. Stark tries to pick up Jax but she collapses. Jax hits a leg drop on Stark. She then squashes Stark for the win.

Winner: Nia Jax

Byron interviews Jey Uso who says he doesn’t want to join any groups. He says Cody took a chance on him. He says he has beef with Owens but Sami is still his dawg. So, if Judgment Day tries their tactics, he will keep an on them.

The Miz’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Finn and Dominik are discussing backstage.

The Miz is in the ring. He welcomes the fans to Miz TV. He says his guest will speak for the first time since he walked away on Jey Uso. He then introduces Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he comes down to the ring.

Miz says Drew has a lot of frustration and this is an open zone for him to speak freely. Drew asks if he has any questions. Miz says he would’ve done the same thing. He asks why he left him to be beaten by Judgment Day. Drew says they are nothing alike. Miz says they are more alike than he thinks.

He says Drew was an unwavering WWE Champion until he wasn’t and then he received the opportunity of a lifetime but lost because of Jey Uso. He says Drew doesn’t trust Jey because he always does what’s best for him. Miz says Jey made his bed and he had to sleep in it.

Miz calls Drew the batman of WWE while Cody is the Superman. He asks what it was like to be upstaged by Cody last week. New Day’s music plays and they come down to the ring. Kofi says the Drew they knew was not a coward. Xavier says as of last week, there seems to be a bit of shrinkage. Miz tries to talk but Drew shuts him up. Drew says no one did anything and Cody was just trying to clean it up. Kofi says Drew didn’t do what he was supposed to do. Drew reminds them about all the things Jey had done to them. Kofi says Jey is here and he is trying to make it right. Miz tries to talk but Drew tells him to shut up.

Kofi says he always respects Drew for doing what is right. Miz tries to talk again but he headbutts him. Drew asks Kofi to get in the ring.

*Commercial break*

Alpha Academy is backstage and Chad Gable asks him not to be ashamed of his loss. Kaiser walks in and says they hold themselves to a higher standard. Maxxine tells him to go away and Gable tells hims that he lost. He tells Kaiser to inform Gunther that he still has his eyes set on the Intercontinental Championship.

Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

The match begins and Drew knocks down Kingston. He chops him in the corner. Kofi comes back with a dropkick. Drew recovers and hits a suplex. Drew with a shoulder block.

Kingston sends Drew out of the ring. He climbs the top rope and dives onto McIntyre. Kofi sends Drew into the ring and hits a crossbody. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

*Commercial break*

Kofi climbs the top rope and goes for a dive but is caught and tossed across the ring. Drew hits the neckbreaker. Kofi comes back with a famousser. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Kofi hits the boom drop. He goes for the trouble in paradise and misses. Drew hits the future shock DDT. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out.

Drew chops down Kofi. Kofi sends Drew out of the ring. He hits the suicide dive on McIntyre. Drew comes back with a forearm. He slams Kofi on the apron and sends him into the ring. Drew goes for the Claymore kick and misses. Kofi hits the SOS. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Ivar attacks Xavier Woods from behind and takes him out. Drew hits the Claymore kick for the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Ivar attacks Kofi in the ring while Drew walks away. Ivar hits a moonsault from the top rope.

Gunther is yelling at Vinci backstage. Kaiser walks in and Gunther says it is ridiculous what happened in the ring and he tells him that Vinci is his responsibility from now on. He says he will now focus on being the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time. Both men walk their separate way.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship: Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) (c) vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

The Judgment Day’s music plays and they walk to the ring. Kevin Owens’ music plays and he comes out. Sami Zayn’s theme song plays and he comes out and they walk to the ring.

The match begins and both teams brawl in the ring. Sami with a couple of arm drags on Balor who rolls out of the ring.

*Commercial break*

Zayn comes back with an elbow. Damian drives him into the corner and Balor tags in. He attacks Zayn in the corner. Sami comes back with a clothesline. He tags out and Owens hits a senton on Balor. Owens kicks Priest. The distraction helps Balor gain an advantage. Balor tags out. Priest kicks Owens in the face. He goes to work on Owens.

Owens hits a DDT. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Zayn attacks Priest in the corner and follows it with a dropkick. He sends Balor outside the ring. Zayn sends Priest outside the ring and he dives on Judgment Day.

*Commercial break*

Zayn hits a tornado DDT. Sami tags out and he attacks Balor and stomps him. Owens takes out Priest on the outside. Owens hits the cannonball on Balor in the corner. Owens with the back suplex on Priest. He then hits a frog splash on Balor. Cover! 1….2……kick out. Balor with an enzuigiri to Owens. Kevin hits the rolling senton off the top rope. Cover! 1…..2…….kick out.

Owens goes for the Swanton but Balor gets his knees up. Balor hits the shotgun dropkick and follows it with the coup de grace. Cover! 1…..2…Sami makes the save. Priest sends Balor out of the ring. Balor tags out. Priest goes for the South of Heaven chokeslam but Owens escapes and tags out. Zayn hits the exploder suplex. Dominik distracts Sami Priest goes for the razor’s edge. but he escapes. Sami hits the blue thunder bomb. Cover! Balor makes the save. Dominik attacks Sami and Priest slams him. Cover! 1….2…Kick out. Jey attacks Dominik. JD comes out to help Dominik. Cody also comes out and a brawl breaks out. Owens hits the stunner on Balor. Priest sends Owens outside the ring. Zayn hits the Helluva kick but JD hits Sami with the title belt and Priest pins him.

Winner: Judgment Day (c)

Cody and Jey Uso come out and brawl with Judgment Day. Owens and Sami also joins in the brawl. Cody, Jey Uso, Owens, and Zayn stand tall to close out the show.
