Sami Callihan has been considered the heart and soul of Impact Wrestling, as he has been part of numerous iconic moments in the company’s history. Reports have suggested that Callihan’s contract will expire soon and it appears his contract will actually end this week.

Sami Callihan was a part of NXT, where he was known as Solomon Crowe. That run lasted from 2013 to 2015, but he left to find his own path in the business. He joined Impact Wrestling in 2017 and has become one of the mainstays ever since.

As previously reported, Sami Callihan’s contract with Impact Wrestling will be expiring soon. According to a report by PWInsider, the former Impact Wrestling Champion will be leaving the company after his contract expires this Saturday.

“Currently, the two sides, while still amicable, have not yet agreed to terms for a new deal.

Callihan will be a free agent as of 10/1 and we have heard there is already interest in him from multiple companies not just as a talent but in other roles, which I would take to mean as a producer/agent.”

It was further added that the belief is he has finished up for now and will become a free agent on October 1st, which is coincidentally when AEW WrestleDream takes place. We’ll have to wait and see where he will end up next.
