Jade Cargill Advised to Train in NXT Before Making Main WWE Roster Jump

Jade Cargill wasted no time in becoming a major deal in AEW. She was the TBS Champion for a long time but had to drop it earlier this year. Her time in AEW is over now and now it appears Konnan believes Jade Cargill should work in NXT first before making her way to the main roster.

Earlier reports indicated that Jade Cargill was done with AEW following her Rampage title match and that she would be making her way to WWE shortly. That was all but confirmed after her AEW contract already expired earlier this month.

In fact, she was also removed from AEW’s roster. Jade Cargill may have given different excuse to AEW co-workers backstage other than going to WWE. While speaking on the K100 podcast, Konnan talked about Jade Cargill working in WWE, where he stated that Cargill should definitely polish her skills in NXT before making her way to the main roster.

“What’s the rush? Remember when we had the divas and most of the time since they couldn’t wrestle, they just had them around the ring in battle royals so you could see a lot of girls out there. These girls can wrestle now, they can go, there’s no rush. I mean, she’s already shown that she can handle the ball in the big time, but this is the biggest of them all.”

“Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with going to NXT because everybody knows that’s where Seth and Becky went through. It isn’t like before where they were like ”Oh they’re in Florida Championship Wrestling.”

Cargill will also be getting much higher than usual money for her WWE run. Jade Cargill’s WWE Creative is priority for the company as well. It remains to be seen whether Cargill will become a major star in WWE after her debut.
