WWE and AEW aren’t the only pro wrestling companies with interesting contract situations. Now, it appears that Sami Callihan’s Impact Wrestling deal is drawing attention. The former World Champion’s deal is running up in just under a week, and it’s unclear what he will do next.

Sami Callihan was a part of NXT, where he was known as Solomon Crowe. That run lasted from 2013 to 2015, but he parted ways from WWE and sought out his own path in pro wrestling.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Sami Callihan’s contract is running up sooner than later. He has been with the company since 2017, shortly after he departed from NXT on his own terms.

Fightful Select has learned that former IMPACT World Champion Sami Callihan’s IMPACT contract is up in just under a week, at the end of September. Callihan has been with IMPACT Wrestling since 2017, and there is believed to be interest from both sides on possibly re-signing. However, sources close to the situation say that Callihan is able to speak with other wrestling companies.
