Update: Matt Riddle’s fiancé, Misha Montana, has addressed this video message. She is not happy about this post at all.
Original: Matt Riddle’s name may have been the biggest name in so far for this round of WWE releases. The Original Bro has spoken on the matter, and now his ex-girlfriend has a lot to say as well.

Matt Riddle took to Instagram and he admitted to his WWE release. He thanked fans for all the support, but this time in his career is over for now.
“Just wanted to inform everyone that I’m no longer with WWE. Thank you for the memories and opportunities also thank you to all the fans for the support and love you give me every time I go out to the ring. See you all soon [shaking sign emoji].”
Matt Riddle hadn’t been seen on WWE television since that messy situation at JFK Airport. The Original Bro had issues getting home from India and WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event without causing a disturbance and having security called on him.
The King of Bros was involved in a few controversies outside that JFK Airport experience. You also can’t forget the controversy surrounding his leaked sex tape.
Matt Riddle’s ex-girlfriend, Daniella Petrow, logged onto X and she dropped an emotional video about Riddle’s release. She was very happy about this news, as she went on to say that she was crying “tears of joy” because WWE isn’t there to “protect” Riddle anymore. The caption for her video message said a lot, as she also hopes that Riddle can turn things around for his family.
“I can’t stop crying tears of joy knowing this man lost the power of fame for all that he has done to countless women & ppl such as myself! Power & limelight can consume even the purest of souls … but w someone who’s had darkness growing inside himself already it was like a Loaded gun to @SuperKingofBros. I hope now that this has been taken away from him, he betters his life for his unborn child, mends broken relationships w his children… and never hurts anyone else ever again because @WWE isn’t gonna be around to protect his A$$ anymore.”
Matt Riddle had quite a run in WWE, but his momentum on the main roster was stopped time and time again. Sadly, even though Randy Orton is on his way back to the company, an RKBro reunion won’t be in the cards.
We will have to see what Matt Riddle does next in his career. He will certainly have a lot of attention no matter where he goes, because at 37-years-old, he still has years left in the pro wrestling business if he wants it. Riddle just won’t be doing it in WWE.
