Jim Ross is a WWE Hall of Famer and was the voice of several generations of fans, as he gave decades of his life to the business. He has worked extensively with the McMahon family and knows them all too well. Now it appears Ross stated that Linda McMahon had no desire to be on WWE television.

Vince McMahon’s wife Linda McMahon made her WWE television debut in 1999. The 74-year-old was featured extensively on WWE television during the Attitude Era, especially during Shane McMahon’s feud with Vince McMahon.

While speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross stated that Linda McMahon’s presence on television often made sense from a storyline perspective. That said, Jim Ross added that Linda McMahon had no desire to be on WWE television.

“Linda didn’t have any desire to be on television, but she was a key component in the way the story was being told. She was the matriarch of this McMahon clan, so she had a role there. It was logical. It made sense for her to be in this group picture, this family portrait, shall we say, but I don’t think she ever had a desire to be on camera.”

Linda McMahon has not appeared on WWE television in a very long time and it is unlikely she will ever do so again. Regardless, fans will fondly remember Linda McMahon’s moments from the Attitude Era and that’s never changing.
