WWE has a few television shows that they must keep on the air every week. Apparently, they are collecting extra matches for one of those programs.
Bodyslam.net reports that WWE has been recording episodes of NXT Level Up in recent weeks as part of their production schedule.
NXT Level Up provides a platform for many WWE Performance Center graduates to showcase their skills on television. While some newcomers may debut in NXT during live events, Level Up also serves as an opportunity for certain debuts.
Both NXT and NXT Level Up are filmed at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with Level Up typically being recorded before a live broadcast of NXT. These tapings can be quite extensive for the live audience, but it appears that WWE has been recording additional matches in preparation for a double-header taping of NXT in the upcoming month.
According to the report, WWE has been accumulating matches for NXT Level Up in anticipation of the double-header NXT tapings scheduled for October.
“We’ve been advance taping episodes of Level Up for a few weeks due to a double NXT show in October. (Stockpiling matches to air the next week or two, then the night of the 2 NXTs, we have two weeks worth in the can)”
We will have to see what the future has in store for NXT Level Up. Some fans really like this chance to see Superstars of tomorrow before they even get a chance to perform on Tuesday nights. Only time will tell who they feature next.
