WWE just got done releasing a lot of talent from their rosters. The company isn’t finished introducing new stars by a long shot, and they proved that with a new filing.

On September 19th, WWE submitted an application to the US Patent and Trademark Office for the registration of a new ring name for an NXT Superstar. It appears that the company has locked down a new ring name.

The name in question is Jaida Parker, and the registration is intended for entertainment services within the realm of wrestling exhibitions and concerts featuring professional wrestlers and entertainers. You can check out the whole listing below.

“Mark For: JAIDA PARKER™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

We will have to see what WWE does with this new name. Jaida Parker is a good name, but it also needs to go to a star who can take the moniker and make it their own.

WWE has a few exciting events in the pipeline, and many possible surprises. Jade Cargill may be showing up any time at this point, and now fans know what they can also expect to possibly see Jaida Parker light up their television screens as well. Also, we have received absolutely no indication that Jaida Parker is Jade Cargill’s new name, so let’s stop that rumor before it gets going.

What’s your take on this new WWE NXT name? Is it a good name to see on marquees for big matches down the line? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
