LA Knight debuted as part of the Maximum Male Models agency last year, with ma.çé and mån.sôör being the first two acquisitions of the agency. Eventually, Maxxine Dupri joined the fold as well. None of that mattered as the faction eventually disbanded and Mace & Mansoor got released from WWE yesterday.

After LA Knight and Maxxine Dupri left the faction, their future was up in the air. During the company’s latest slew of releases yesterday, Mace and Mansoor were handed their release.

While speaking during a recent Twitch stream, the former Maximum Male Models star opened up about the nature of his WWE release. Mace revealed that he came to know of his WWE release while driving his daughter to school.

My firing story is, I was driving my beautiful daughter to school. We were going through a dead zone. There is a dead zone between my house and her school. I didn’t get anything. You [Mansoor] had informed me that you were fired.

I thought I was safe. I had driven through a dead zone, apparently, I should have stayed because when I left the dead zone after dropping off my daughter, I had received a text that said, ‘Call me back.’”

Both Mace and Mansoor have 90-day non-compete clauses and will be free agents from December 20th. Only time will tell whether they will eventually make their way back to WWE, as the company may find value in them in the future.

What’s your opinion on this shocking release story? Do you believe WWE should have done more for Mace and Mansoor? Let us know in the comments!
