WWE is set to air a new episode of SmackDown on FOX, and they are trying to make it a packed show. The matches already confirmed include WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY defending her title against Asuka, as well as a tag team clash pitting Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar against The Street Profits. There is a lot more in store for fans.
We previously reported that John Cena is slated for his first TV match since WrestleMania 39, where he faced then-United States Champion Austin Theory. That could be a big match on SmackDown this week with Cena and AJ Styles versus Jimmy Uso and Solo.
NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has shared her upcoming schedule, indicating her presence on tonight’s SmackDown. However, it remains uncertain whether she will appear on the televised segment or participate in a dark match.
Becky Lynch isn’t expected this week, but it might be a nice surprise. After all, she is a RAW Superstar with the NXT Women’s Title.
Becky Lynch is gearing up to defend her title against Tiffany Stratton in a rematch at No Mercy scheduled for the following Saturday. It’s possible that she will appear on FOX to plug that USA Network event.
We will have to see how things pan out when the show goes live on FOX. The company just announced that USA Network is going to get the show for the next five years. Now, it appears that The Man might stop by the blue brand this week.
