The name of a newly formed WWE faction seems to have been confirmed through trademark filings and recent comments made by its members. It appears that WWE could have some new, exciting plans in store.
This new trio in NXT includes SCRYPTS, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price. SCRYPTS, formerly known as Reggie on the main roster, was recently revealed on NXT programming a few weeks ago. Now we know his face, and he is part of a new team.
During a recent NXT segment where the group was depicted ‘hustling for cash on the streets,’ Nima stated, “From the dirt, to making it out the mud,” to which Price responded, “O… T… M.”
It appears that the new name for the faction could be either “Out The Mud” or simply “OTM.” The company has apparently locked that name down already.
On September 18th, WWE submitted trademark applications for both “Out The Mud” and “OTM.” The trademark that WWE fled for the new OTM name matches most previous registrations for pro wrestling related names.
We will have to see what this new stable is able to do in NXT. Obviously, they are just getting started, but the trio migh thave a bright future ahead of them.
