WWE hasn’t seen John Cena appear this often in a long time. Hollywood took him away from the company, but this return run could have a few pay-per-view stops along the way as well.
John Cena is back for another run in WWE, and he will apparently be around for Fastlane. The latest graphics for the big event showcase the 16x World Champion as the only Superstar featured on the promotional graphic, so WWE is making the most of everything.
John Cena’s appearance at the Fastlane event scheduled for Saturday, October 7th at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking good. In an update, WWE has now released a new promotional graphic for Fastlane featuring Cena. You can view the image below.
John Cena was announced for SmackDown on October 6th in St. Louis, which serves as the go-home show for Fastlane, as well as the post-Fastlane SmackDown on October 13th in Tulsa. Of course, he will also appear at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
As of this writing, WWE has not officially announced any matches for Fastlane. The WWE website still lists several Superstars for the event, many of whom were initially advertised in the summer: Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Bobby Lashley, Asuka, and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
Cena, who was also recently confirmed for the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event scheduled for Saturday, November 4 in Saudi Arabia, is expected to appear on tonight’s SmackDown and there are rumors of him teaming with AJ Styles to face Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at some point.
We will have to see what happens with John Cena. He is slated to team with AJ Styles in a tag team match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa this week on SmackDown. That could open the door for many more physical altercations for Cena from this point on.
