Aliyah Says WWE Never Wanted Her To Be A Fan-Favorite

Aliyah was finally called up to the main roster as part of the WWE Draft in 2021 and fans simply wanted Aliyah to be booked well in the company. However, none of that happened as her main roster run had been marred by injury after injury. She was released from WWE yesterday and now it appears Aliyah stated that WWE never wanted her to be a fan-favorite.

Aliyah had a lot of fans who wanted to see her do something significant in the company. During her prolonged absence from WWE television, Aliyah even vented her frustrations regarding her status in the company.

None of that mattered anymore as Aliyah was released by WWE yesterday. Aliyah took to her Instagram and stated that WWE never wanted her to be a fan-favorite, but she appreciated fans for making her a favorite nonetheless.

Only time will tell whether Aliyah will find success in another pro wrestling promotion, as she is still quite young and has her whole life ahead of her in the business.
