MJF is regarded as a generational talent, and he clearly has been able to back up such claims. Maxwell is now the AEW World Champion and his value to the company cannot be understated. Now it appears he told fans to buy tickets earlier after AEW Dynamite went off the air.

As seen in the main event of AEW Grand Slam, MJF defended his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. It was a hard-hitting encounter as expected, with many near falls to boot. In the end, MJF choked out Samoa Joe to win the match.

After this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air, MJF cut a promo on the crowd, telling them to buy tickets earlier so that he wouldn’t have to do so much media work.

“Hey, let me explain something to all of you. You sons of b****** better buy tickets earlier next time, because I had to do so much PR I almost broke my neck talking. But let me tell you something else. This is the best city in the world! We have the best matches in the best city, New York, year after year after year. Stick around, we’ve got plenty more matches coming up next. Ladies and gentlemen my name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and I am better than you.

Unfortunately for MJF, Adam Cole might have suffered an ankle injury during Dynamite as he left the hospital in crutches. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for MJF, as he has toppled the Samoan Submission Machine.
