Elias was one of the biggest cases of WWE simply not knowing what to do with a particular talent. After a mediocre run in NXT, Elias was called up to the main roster and became popular with his Drifter gimmick. However, WWE was never able to capitalize on Elias and he ended up getting released today. Now it appears Elias broke his silence on this matter.
With his catchphrase “Walk With Elias” getting over with WWE fans and his guitar performances always being a huge hit, many people felt Elias was on the cusp of greatness in WWE.
As previously reported, Elias was just released from WWE today after numerous months of inactivity. Naturally, this didn’t come as a surprise for fans as they felt he was simply wasted.
The Drifter took to Twitter and commented on his unfortunate release from WWE as he reflected on his achievements during his time with the company. Elias made it clear that he was grateful for his time in WWE.

God is Good!
Ringside News exclusively reported that the internal belief within the creative team was that Elias’ Ezekiel character ended up ruining him. We hope Elias will have a better time in whichever pro wrestling company he calls his home next.
