AEW brought another show to Arthur Ashe Stadium, and Adam Cole’s status was a big question after he was apparently injured on the ramp during the main event. Now, we have an update on the former NXT Champion’s condition.

We previously reported on a handful of AEW Rampage spoilers.

It was previously reported that Adam Cole was taken to a hospital after AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. This worried some fans, because he wasn’t even in a match during the show.

Sean Sapp provided an update for fans. Apparently, Adam Cole is out of the hospital now, but he left on crutches. No update was given as to the exact nature of his injury.

He later reported behind Fightful’s paywall that Adam Cole as in “obvious pain,” and he was limping. At this point, he is no longer in the hospital, but that’s all the update we have at this point.

Adam Cole sustained an injury jumping to ringside, and limped following that, including backstage. We’re told he was in obvious pain backstage and was taken to the hospital. He’s since left and was seen on crutches.

We will keep a close eye on this ongoing story, because you never know what can happen in pro wrestling. AEW Grand Slam was certainly an exciting event for many reasons.

Nobody expected for Adam Cole to get injured during a match he wasn’t even a part of. Hopefully, this doesn’t change any situation he has with future booking plans.
