WWE has a lot of things going on when it comes to a corporate sense. Their merger with UFC brought on a new era with TKO. That came with mass layoffs within the company, but that didn’t change the roster. That being said, a few big time contracts could be up soon enough that would definitely shift things

We previously reported that Sheamus’ WWE contract is set to expire in early 2024. His deal isn’t the only one running up.

Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract is set to expire in 2024. As of this writing, we have not heard anything about them coming to an agreement on that deal. There are a lot of possibilities for Drew McIntyre if he becomes a free agent.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Becky Lynch’s deal is also set to run up in 2024, along with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. A lot of things can extend deals in pro wrestling, like time off, so it’s hard to determine an exact timeframe.

Sheamus currently has a contract set to expire with WWE in 2024. This is the case with numerous stars, including Becky Lynch and Drew McIntyre. We’re told by WWE sources that it is believed his deal is up in the first quarter or first half of 2024, though that period isn’t confirmed. Pro wrestling deals have a lot of caveats that could extend that.

It was also noted that, “WWE signed a ton of wrestlers to new five-year deals in 2019, but even several that were negotiated after that period are also up in or at the end of 2024, as well.” They wanted to give their top talent great deals, around a time when AEW was kicking things off, and those deals are now set to expire sooner than later.

It was previously noted that Becky Lynch and WWE’s contract talks haven’t started up yet. Her deal is reportedly up in June 2024. She is currently the NXT Women’s Champion, so she is still factored into a lot of those plans, as she is getting a chance to have another run in NXT.

Kevin Owens’ deal with WWE is also running up sooner than later. He remarked at the end of July how he only has a year and a half left on his deal, and he doesn’t know what the future holds. KO’s contract joins many in WWE who have deals that are running up around the same time.
