WWE NXT continues to capture the attention of wrestling fans, and recent viewership numbers indicate a resurgence for the brand.
According to reports from Wrestlenomics, WWE NXT maintained a strong audience, with 824,000 viewers tuning in. This marks a notable achievement for NXT, as it hasn’t seen viewership figures like this since 2021.
While there was a slight 3% drop compared to the previous week’s 850,000 viewers, NXT remains in a healthy viewership range. The show also attracted 316,000 viewers in the coveted 18-49 demographic, which, despite being a 6% decrease from the previous week, is still a significant viewership segment.
One of the highlights of the recent episode was the champion vs. champion match between NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. This match, which ended in a no contest due to Ilja Dragunov’s interference, saw a peak viewership of 912,000.
It’s worth noting that NXT hasn’t consistently reached such high viewership figures since its early days when it competed head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on Wednesday nights.
Recent episodes of NXT have seen a boost in ratings, partly attributed to “The Man” Becky Lynch’s presence, who became the NXT Women’s Champion last week in one of the highest-rated episodes in years.
Despite variations in viewership, NXT appears to be in a resurgence phase, and it will be interesting to see if it can maintain and build upon this momentum in the weeks to come.
