DX is a WWE Hall of Fame stable, and they made many memories in the ring. The group is known for their iconic theme song, but WWE had original intentions. When X-Pac branched off and did his own thing, it seems that WWE had quite an idea for his entrance music, but they went another direction.

WWE’s Attitude Era burst out onto the scene when pop culture was booming with the same kind of vibe. There were many options of whom WWE wanted to link themselves with, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were on top of the scene at the time.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, X-Pac revealed that WWE almost snagged Red Hot Chili Peppers for X-Pac’s theme song, but they went another direction.

“That was my idea. Shane McMahon goes up to me, and they’re trying, they’re trying, and he goes, ‘hey we’re thinking about having Red Hot Chili Peppers do your theme music and I said, ‘NO! I WANT UNCLE CRACKER’

Red Hot Chili Peppers are a legendary rock n roll band, and that would match the level of DX as well. Sadly, fans never heard the Chili Peppers’ version of DX’s theme song, but there’s always time for them to do a throwback cover.
