Randy Orton has been battling back issues over the years, and the pain has been progressively worsening, which led him to getting a back fusion surgery in 2022. Now, fans will be happy about this update.

The Viper hasn’t made an appearance on WWE programming for well over a year, with his last match occurring on SmackDown when he and Matt Riddle lost the Tag Team Titles to The Usos.

In an interview, Riddle mentioned that Orton was in such agony that he collapsed backstage after the match. There has been uncertainty surrounding Orton’s status, and there have been discussions that he might never return to the ring.

Earlier this year, Bob Orton stated that doctors had advised his son against resuming wrestling, but Randy is determined to follow his own path and has expressed a desire to make a comeback. Recently, there hasn’t been much news about Randy, apart from a few leaked photos showing him in excellent physical condition.

A new video of Randy Orton has gone viral, which shows The Viper entering the Performance Center in Orlando. While his current status remains uncertain, wrestlers typically visit the PC to work out and assess their readiness before receiving clearance to return.

Bodyslam.net reports that, “sources in Orlando that Orton has been training for his return at the Performance Center for the past 3 weeks. Orton’s tour bus has been a weekly constant at the Performance Center during the past few weeks. We were unable to confirm who Orton has been working with to prepare for his return as of this writing.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE has a plan in place for Randy Orton’s return. We were told that his comeback would happen this year, but it won’t be until after SummerSlam. We are in that timeframe now.

Although his status is unknown, the fact that he traveled to Orlando may provide fans with some hope that he could return to the ring at some point.
