WWE has a lot of plans for the future, and they realize that a few members of the roster are ready to blow up, because of the amazing talent they possess. Grayson Waller has been a standout Superstar since his NXT debut, and now he has the main roster’s attention in a big way.
It was previously reported that WWE plans to push Australian talent. This will coincide with their massive Australian event that is expected to be announced for 2024. We have reached out to confirm this, and we were told that one Aussie talent was already in line for a push.
Grayson Waller may have been the last name called in the 2023 WWE Supplemental Draft, but he didn’t let that placement stop him from gaining a huge spotlight. The company even used him on television, where he hosted the Grayson Waller Effect, even while he was recovering from an injury that he suffered while in NXT.
Ringside News reached out to confirm this plan to push a few Australian talents before their trip to Australia for the event, and we were told, “Grayson Waller is going to get a push because he’s very good.”
Obviously, Grayson Waller’s abilities in the ring and on the microphone have not been lost on WWE. They realized what kind of talent he has, because he entered WWE with television experience under his belt anyway. He was a contestant on Australian Survivor, and you can check out a clip from those days in his life below.
Grayson Waller is very sure of himself. He’s not afraid to call out big names, including The Rock. He had some words with John Cena this week on SmackDown, and he also wrestled Edge before the Rated R Superstar wrapped up his time with the company. WWE is obviously keeping their eyes on Grayson Waller as someone who could be a big deal for them in the future.
We will have to see what the future holds for Grayson Waller, but this is certainly a good sign for him. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more on this story, and many more.
