John Cena is a brand of his own and his name continues to be high value no matter what. The Leader of Cenation might have adopted a part-timer role over the last six years, but he is now on the longest run during his current stint in WWE. He is also set to compete at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and it appears there’s a good reason why he can compete at the event.
John Cena has been appearing on WWE television for the past couple of weeks already. He is also set to be a part of WWE Crown Jewel on November 4th.
In a Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Dave Meltzer noted that John Cena can compete in Saudi Arabia as more people are now doing business in Saudi Arabia.
“In Saudi Arabia they are announcing John Cena for the 11/4 show.
Cena had pulled out of the last WWE show in Saudi Arabia he had been booked on, but it’s no longer an issue that could have negative effects on his career since everyone is back doing business with the country now.
Basically there is nobody left on the roster as far as we know that is either refusing to go or banned from going.”
The only Saudi show Cena has worked was the Greatest Royal Rumble 2018 show. We’ll have to wait and see who John Cena will compete against at Saudi Arabia this year.
