When WWE Started Voicing Interest In Signing Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill made the decision not to re-sign with AEW, and she is leaving Tony Khan’s company. She won’t disappear at all, because Cargill is now looking at making her debut for WWE soon enough.

WWE fans are excited about getting to see Jade Cargill mix it up in Vince McMahon’s company. She will be at the WWE Performance Center this week, where she is expected to officially start her journey in WWE.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Jade Cargill has been on WWE’s radar for a while. People close to her even hinted that big moves could be coming for her soon.

“WWE has long had interest, but some within WWE had heard of interest back in July, and several associated with her teased that ‘big moves could be coming,’ though they didn’t outright say what those moves would be. There were several people close to her that were being coy about her future plans, not outright mentioning WWE, however, higher ups in AEW were aware of the plans to jump to WWE.”

Jade Cargill should have been on WWE’s radar. She had a tryout with the company prior to going to AEW. After an impressive undefeated streak with the TBS Title, WWE is going to take her now.

Cody Rhodes jumped from AEW back to WWE, and his booking has been incredible. It will be very interesting to see if Jade Cargill sees the same results.
